Franklin Fehrman is a dedicated attorney with a strong foundation in both prosecution and public service. He began his legal career as a prosecutor at the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office in New Orleans, where he gained invaluable insight into the criminal justice system from the government's perspective. This experience uniquely equips him to anticipate prosecutorial strategies and build effective defenses for his clients.
A native New Orleanian at heart, Franklin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of New Orleans, graduating summa cum laude with university and departmental honors and receiving multiple scholarships for academic excellence. He went on to graduate from Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans, where he participated in the law clinic, providing hands-on representation to clients in need. During law school, he also interned at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, spending a summer assisting indigent clients and veterans with their applications for Social Security and VA benefits and advocating for those facing significant barriers to justice.
Franklin is committed to protecting the rights of the accused, and delivering zealous, compassionate representation in legal matters throughout Louisiana.
